Hi,

I had a number of failures to access https://datatracker.ietf.org/liaison/999/
Then suddenly it started to work, and now I can't get to
https://datatracker.ietf.org/liaison/1001/

The error reported is:

Internal Server Error.
The server encountered an internal error and was unable to complete your
request. Either the server is overloaded or there was an error in a script used
to generate the requested page.

Cheers,
Adrian

Hi,

I have just tried to send a further liaison.

1. Cannot select more than one liaison as a reference. I want to reply to more
than one liaison at once.

2. All liaisons sent to the ITU-T should automatically send a copy to
itu-t-liaisons@iab.org

3. I need to be able to edit the cc list to add other key recipients.

Thanks!
Adrian

May be a log-in issue.

For recent liaisons, I can only access the liaisons I authored.

More info, I only see the problem when I am logged in.
If I log out, I can see all of the liaison statements, but if I log in I can't
see some of them.
Specifically...

1009
1003
1004
1005
1001

These all seem to have been authored by the same person.

Cheers,
Adrian

There seems to be both database content issues and code issues here.

I hope to address the latter with a release tomorrow (Feb. 11th) or
Monday, and then address the former together with the secretariat.

Best,

Greetings. If I want to give out a URL that points to the latest diff on
a draft, I need to know the version number. That is, my URL needs to
look like:

http://tools.ietf.org/rfcdiff?url2=draft-ietf-somewg-someprot-10.txt

and I need to know that "10" is the latest version. What I would like is
to have the URL always be:

http://tools.ietf.org/rfcdiff?url2=draft-ietf-somewg-someprot-current.txt

Thanks for considering this!

Paul -

You can get the latest version of a draft without knowing its version =
number using a URL like:
<https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-ietf-payload-rfc4695-bis/>

For rfcdiff, what are you wanting to do the diff against? Current and =
Current - 1?

I'm working on debugging this; haven't been able to complete it
quite according to schedule.

Best,

	Henrik

IETF Tools Call - 16 Feb 2011

Attendees:
Ray Pelletier
Bob Hinden
Henrik Levkowetz
Ron Bonica
Steve Conte
Karen=20
Alexa Morris
Glen Barney
Russ Housley
Julian Reschke
Tony Hansen
Alice Hagens

1. PM Update - Henrik
	Tools Acceptance testing
	Projects in work
=09
HL: submission tool rewrite and WG Chair new tool are now ready for beta =
testing. =20
requested mailing list - folks to be invited for testing
expects some things will need adjustment and developer is very =
responsive=20
hopefully less hassle than with the liasion tool
Liasion tool - finding and fixing things. Need time with secretariat =
(Alexa?) to go=20
over changes in DB for the accept and authorization
For conversion, HL wrote initial proxy class code, but almost all code =
will be=20
written by contractor (IOLA). Need to do changeover quickly after so no =
new issues=20
arise
RH: Can cutover take place between prague and quebec city?
HL: Yes, probably not before prague=20
RH: Can anything in prague be done to make cutover easier prior to =
quebec city?
HL: Can't think of anything specific, but important to deploy new =
submission tools prior
HL: Any manual fixing to be done hoping to be incorporated into program=20=

RP: What's target date for completion of acceptance testing
HL: No date yet, but happy to set one. When we want to complete is a =
question of how
much do we want to rush submission tool=20
RP: In the past, we've avoided new tools just before a meeting.. =
probably a good idea
RH: Yes, but this may be an exception as there is a spike of submissions =
prior to a=20
meeting and if it'll make it easier, it may be worth deploying early... =
IF there's=20
confidence in the new tool
HL: HL to test tool (with volunteers) to determine confidence level of =
submission tool
Can the person @ secretariat that receives manual submissions, can they =
forward to HL so
he can put into new tool as a test mechanism
AM: Yes

2. XML2RFC RFP - Ray

RP: rfp was issued on 11 Feb, expecting proposals by 28 feb. 3 Mar will =
be discussed=20
at IAOC. Decision by 17 Mar. Looking at 23 May for tool delivery.

RFP was distributed broadly to gain good pool of potential contractors

No questions yet (due friday) but received a few Thank Yous=20

3. Code Sprint

SC dropped ball and has a mail out to Marcia to finalize room and F&B

RP: This is now mostly established and will run in an "automatic" mode =
and will get
notification from Marcia if the logistical format can't be met

4. Asia Server

HL: Up.. had to fix some things but it's running fine

5. AMS Update

GB: continuing to convert sec tools to django.
begun committing of code to repository
expect to have between 3-4 new sec tools to show ietf leadership in =
prague=20
pending list: analysis on some other tools, 2 new tools beginning work =
now
still have issue to discuss on failover and server upgrade tests
RH: Would like to see Apr for cutover test
GB: April looks fine

GB: had an offer a while ago from Hurricane Electric to bring in =
additional bandwidth=20
to IETF server center. HE hasn't contacted GB in a while to try to =
finish this=20
project.
BH: Spoke to HE while in Paris. They're still very interested. Wants =
to upgrade=20
hardware. Email will be sent, but contact is traveling a lot lately.
GB: Will also try to get HE to provide IPv6 at the Orlando site.

RH: rfcdiff tool. had long discussion of archives of IDs. Determined =
that we have=20
the archives and someone was going to look at them and make a proposal =
to make them=20
available online. Haven't seen a proposal yet from AMS
GB: have the archive and syncing them from tools server. =20
RH: have a question about the secretariats authoritative collection of =
archive.. aren't
missing any, but some seem to be located in other places. need a =
proposal to=20
determine how to get them all together
HL: Needs to discuss with GB to ensure that the archive is indeed =
authoritative=20

6. IT Update - if not covered

RP:=20
This year:=20

completed 1 work order=20
2 in acceptance testing
3 in work
4 in development
1 RFP

HL: How far along is community ID tracking tool?
RP: out for AD review and last call
RH: Have Henrik and Alexa looked at it from architecture and user =
interface perspective
HL: One question which HL sent off .. awaiting response
AM: read an earlier version and will read newest
HL: ID tracking is more important as it affects more people
RH: {phone garble and missed the priority}

7. Other

JR: if there are questions about rfp2rfc, who will answer them
RH: tools list and xmldev list if there are difficult questions

AH: heads up about some citiation changes coming to RFCs.

Hi,

there are some bugs in the WG lists shown under "Select working group =
sessions" on https://datatracker.ietf.org/meeting/80/agenda.html

- under INT, there are these WGs listed which don't exist: lowpan, lrw
- under RAI, there are these WGs listed which don't exist: vipr
- under TSV, there are these WGs listed which don't exist: letic
- under IRTF, there are these RGs listed which don't exist: e2erg, =
end2end, gsec

There may be more, this is just what popped out at me.

Lars

PS: ietf-action is BCC'ed
