Does anyone have the pointer to the netvc BOF's mailing list and

Either it's not on this list, or I've fallen off it.

The mailing list is awaiting approval. My apologies for submitting the
request late.

You can find the agenda and other materials here:
http://trac.tools.ietf.org/bof/trac/wiki/WikiStart#NETVCApprovedforIETF91

The only change from that agenda is that Jingning Han from Google's
VP9 team is slated to speak in the Engineering Progress section along
with Mozilla.

Since the list obviously won't have many subscribers in time for the
meeting, perhaps we should have pre-BOF discussions here?

Thanks - the BOF request is missing some information, such as:

- Who will chair the BOF?
- Is there a draft charter (since the BOF is cited as "WG-forming")?

This is the same copy we posted for the meeting in Toronto. I think at
that meeting we agreed we should remove the language about collaborating
with ITU-T and ISO, but those edits haven't been made yet.

We are in the process of engaging with potential contributors to what
we hope will be a future working group. This process is a little
behind where we expected it to be at this point. We want to be sure to
have a successful BoF, and to do that we think it would be prudent to
let that engagement continue informally for awhile longer to make sure
there is widespread interest in the IETF community. To allow for that
discussion to continue, we will resubmit the BoF request for IETF 92.

To get that discussion started, we posted a draft charter earlier to
this list, and we'll be posting some drafts and things soon as well.

jack.

Just to clarify, because the subject heading indicates otherwise, the netvc
codec BoF scheduled for November 13th at IETF 91 is now postponed until IETF
92?

Paul, yes my understanding is the plan is not to run it in Hawaii this nove=
mber but instead do at the following IETF next spring. I think the subject =
line is just a typo.=20
