Hi all!

Just a quick note in addition to the instructions by Henrik, if you go to

http://ietf.beta.iola.dk:10004/accounts/testemail/

you can set your email address and get a copy of the email the server
wants to send as a result of any actions you may take. If you don't
set one, the email is thrown away.

Hello,
this one is a really nasty bug... ;-)

http://ietf.beta.iola.dk:10002/wg/iri

click on "Tools WG Page". it goes to: http://tools.ietf.org/wg/iri

But within the same page, you instead click on "History"

http://ietf.beta.iola.dk:10002/wg/iri/history/

and then click on "Tools WG Page". it goes to: =
http://tools.ietf.org/wg/Internationalized%20Resource%20Identifiers/

which go nowhere.

Regards, Marc.

Ah, yes, sorry, I don't have all the text/data files on the test
server (couldn't find an easy way to download them from ietf.org). So
all the text files won't show up, instead you get these messages. It's
the same with drafts and some other things.

Yeah, it seems these are read from a file that isn't on this test server.

Hi Henrik -

Do we need to do anything special to see the mail that the phase 2

Right; thanks for the reminder.

Since the test server is running in test mode, all email to be sent out is
intercepted before it actually goes out, preventing delivery to the address
that would normally receive it.

To receive a copy of each message before it's discarded, you can set up an
email address to which delivery will be done anyway. The address is stored in
the testmailcc cookie in your browser, so make sure cookies are enabled.

To set up an address for delivery from the test server, please go here:
  http://tracker.tools.ietf.org/accounts/testemail/

Best regards,

	Henrik

Hm, that is because your user didn't have permission to access to the
admin area. I have changed the importer now to give all Secretariat
users access to that. So this should work when the importer has had a
chance to run again.

Note that the interface for telechat dates looks a bit different - I
don't know if you have talked to Ryan about this, but rather than just
storing 4 dates and rotating them, we store all the dates, but of
course only show those in the future in the various dropdown boxes. So
instead of rotating, you press the "Add telechat date" button in the
upper right corner and save that. If I managed to not botch it
completely, it should suggest latest date + 14 days.

Oops. Fixed. Sorry.

Thanks for testing!

I tried deferring draft-nottingham-http-new-status. If you look now
at
<https://tracker.tools.ietf.org/iesg/agenda/documents/>
scroll down to the 2012-02-16 telechat and look at section 2.2.2, you'll
see the draft showing in that section twice.

Fixed, it was simply a missing .distinct() on a proxied queryset so
this should look right next time the test server runs its update
cycle.

Thanks!

I've tried dropping in to test a couple of times and gotten either can't
connect or (what I have now),
a 404 dressed in the top-level tools stylesheet.
<https://tracker.tools.ietf.org/iesg/agenda/documents/> at the moment.

I'm sure some of that is because of the data refresh.

Is there some way we can predict when we shouldn't be expecting the
system to be available for testing?

I see there's a problem with the https: server instance, will look at that
in a moment. There's also a problem with the style sheet for the http:
instance, which may be a code update problem. Will look at that too.

Just before I left work, I updated the conversion script a bit to reduce
the amount of work it has to do; and I'm also close to having replication
in place. I should be able to give much more precise timing on the updates
after that (hopefully later tonight). But the issues I see when I connect
now aren't (I think) directly related to that, and I intend fix them now.

Best regards,

	Henrik

Hi again,

Both the problems I observed were apache config problems, caused by
propagation of an incomplete config from the tools config master (merlot)
to the server hosting tracker.tools.ietf.org (grenache). Mea culpa.
Fixed.

I'll be back with data on timings.

Best regards,

	Henrik

I tried an abstain on a document that's on the upcoming telechat. See
<https://tracker.tools.ietf.org/doc/draft-nottingham-http-new-status/history/>

I noticed after doing so that there is a row in the history (currently
the 3rd row)
saying:
2012-01-31 03 (System) Placed on agenda for telechat - 2012-02-02 by system

It was probably there before I did my test, but I can't tell for sure.

Why is it there? The actual add to the agenda was down at row 14:
2012-01-19 03 Peter Saint-Andre Placed on agenda for telechat - 2012-02-02

Looking at other docs, for instance:
<https://tracker.tools.ietf.org/doc/draft-ietf-v6ops-ipv6-discard-prefix/history/>
indicates that it's not because I took a position. (That doc has this as
the first row).

Please compare
<https://tracker.tools.ietf.org/doc/ad/robert.sparks/>

to

<https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/ad/robert.sparks/>

especially in the section on published RFCs.

I see one row (RFC6446) where the row has some spurious information
about a long-past IESG telechat.
